We recently used our emotiveye™ research app to help shopping centre owner, Hammerson, better understand their shoppers’ experience and what could be improved.
We found that shoppers are keen to engage with surprise and delight touchpoints, yet the challenge is to disrupt their mission-focused journey paths. Sensory elements provide the most effective disruption, such as the smell of freshly cooked pretzel samples wafting through the centre and offered free.
