Household named as one of the top small organizations
The Sunday Times, powered by WorkL, has revealed the Best Places to Work in the UK for 2023. This nationwide workplace survey honours and celebrates Britain’s top employers and acknowledges the best workplaces for women, LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and wellbeing.
Household was selected as one of the small businesses to receive this recognition.
“Your birthday is taken care of at this London design agency. Staff get the day off and £100 towards a restaurant meal on their birthday, one of many employee perks. Every member of the team has access to independent financial advice, alongside a £500 bonus for referring a friend who is then hired by the company. Team socialising is supported with office drinks on Wednesday afternoons, and the annual employee awards give colleagues a chance to celebrate their successes.”
The Sunday Times partnered with employee-experience platform WorkL to deliver fresh insights into what makes a Best Place to Work. Using 35 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, the awards most accurately monitored employee engagement and wellbeing in the workplace.
CEO and co-founder Julie Oxberry commented on the win:
“For a small agency like us it’s exciting to have been named alongside some incredibly well-known brands, as well as fellow creative agencies and small businesses.
Employee wellbeing is something that we care deeply about and achieving “best company” status is just the start of learning of how we can ensure that the people that work for us are excited to be here. As an agency we are focused on creating better futures not just for the brands we work for, but very importantly for the people who work for us.”
