At Household, it’s an annual tradition at Christmas to support charities local to us in London and Los Angeles
Every year we ask our clients to pick who they would like us to donate to on their behalf. Our chosen charities for 2020 were London’s Hackney Winter Night Shelter, LA’s Westside Food Bank and The Trussell Trust. The charities focus on tackling homelessness and food poverty, which has risen due to the pandemic.
This year we were overwhelmed by the responses from our clients, sharing why they had selected the charity and what was important to them about it. There was energy to get involved and play a part for doing good, which felt good too.

Hackney Winter Night Shelter is close to Household HQ in Shoreditch, London. The shelter provides the local homeless community with a safe place to stay and a warm meal and breakfast during the winter months.
Westside Food Bank located in Santa Monica, is on a mission to end hunger in its communities by providing access to free nutritious food through food donations and getting food to people who need it most.
The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of food banks, with the vision to reimagine the UK without food banks.
