Located in Shropshire, award winning local food hero Ludlow Food Centre has a rich ethos of quality, passion and inventiveness. Household was brought on board to help connect the brand’s real food culture with national and international audiences.
We investigated and immersed in how Ludlow works, lives and breathes quality food. This understanding was then built into an evolved name, identity and tonality.
From our brand idea ‘connecting people to real food culture’ we formed contemporary and future forward brand architecture to support Ludlow Food Centre’s ambitions for growth.
An inventive and contemporary brand architecture
The evolved brand name, ‘Ludlow Farm’ was created to encompass the Farm shop, Bakery, Butchers and Kitchen – all destinations of expertise in their own right. The new logo focuses on the stag from the Ludlow family crest, with connotations of strength and solidarity balanced with honesty and transparency.
The identity is applied across all touchpoints, from packaging, uniforms and wayfinding within retail to website and social media platforms.
